Earth Day is Monday, April 22, and LADD will celebrate our beautiful planet by cleaning up our local areas. Trash claws, bags and gloves will be provided. We will be outside from 10-11 a.m. at Victory Parkway and 3-4 p.m. at Geier Apartments. Consider wearing bright clothing and bringing a water bottle.

Please register for either cleanup time and location so Olivia knows how many trash claws, bags, and gloves she needs for the cleanup. Consider wearing bright clothing and bringing a water bottle.
Practice your 5k with fellow Flying Pig enthusiasts, including Anna’s Barrier Free Bootcamp participants, on Tuesday, April 16. We will meet at the amphitheater and begin our trial at 6:30 p.m. Consider trying out the shoes and clothing you wear on race day, and bring a water bottle.

Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival, in collaboration with Contemporary Arts Center, will present a retrospective film screening and discussion celebrating the life and work of Oscar-winning director Julia Reichert.
Reichert’s husband and filmmaking partner, Steven Bogner, will lead a discussion following the screening. Reichert, who died on December 21, 2022, spent five decades making films centered on workers’ and women’s rights.
In its 15th year, LADD’s Run, Walk & Roll directly supports LADD’s services. LADD’s Run, Walk & Roll also helps to break down the barriers to independence for the people LADD serves.
