Short:

Forced Perspective: Strange events begin to affect the life of a senator when she hesitates to address the concerns of the disability community. This short film was created in Cincinnati as part of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. The film includes local actors cast through the Opening Casting Call for Actors with Disabilities held during the OTR Film Festival Each Year.

Feature:

Rising Phoenix: Directed by disabled (low vision) filmmaker Sheridan O’Donnell, Rising Phoenix: A New Revolution takes audiences into the lives of Deaf and disabled Paralympic gold medalists, Hollywood actors, and cultural changemakers. The film goes beyond sports and the Paralympics. It is a rousing, moving portrait of the modern global disability movement. The film aims to redefine the world’s image of disability and focuses on how we build a more equal world for disabled people.
