Senior Living at Victory Parkway

Senior Living at Victory Parkway

Adults with developmental disabilities are living longer, healthier, more meaningful lives, yet traditional nursing facilities lack staff trained in the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. People with I/DD tend to experience greater isolation and their mental and physical health deteriorates at a more rapid rate. LADD is committed to supporting an individual for the entirety of their adult life. Through increased staff training and the assistance of outside providers coming into the home, LADD is successfully supporting people who would have previously had to relocate because of their higher level of need. Our Senior Living at Victory Parkway Program uses the NTG-Early Detection Screen for Dementia; the Montessori Method to develop activities; and modified services and living environments to meet aging needs for people ages 55 and older.
