LADD’s work is guided by the belief that all people have ability and value. Our volunteers help us to fulfill our committment to empower adults with disabilities to Live, Work, and Connect.
Volunteers must meet the following requirements:
- Be available for an interview with our staff
- Ability to pass a background check (when applicable)
- Attend required training
- Be able to receive important information via email

LADD Team Volunteers support LADD’s value of meaningful engagment by developing relationships and supporting opportunities for community inclusion. Team LADD volunteer opportunities are ongoing and require training as well as a background check. If you are not able to make this kind of committment please see our event volunteer opportunities. Team LADD opporunities include things like:
- LADD Movie and Craft Nights
- Health and Wellness Activities
- Transporting people to community activities and events
LADD Event Volunteers help support LADD’s community based special events. These one-time volunteer opportunities help support events like:
- LADD Flying Pig Run, Walk, and Roll
- Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival Events
- Empowerment Committee State of Disability Town Hall
If your volunteer group (larger than 4 people) is looking for opportunities to have fun while supporting LADD’s mission to empower adults with disabilties please sign up below. We can accomodate groups of all sizes. For inquiries about group volunteer opportunities email
