CINCINNATI, OH (June 2026) — Cincinnati and Hamilton County are set to join the national celebration of Disability Pride Month with events and activities throughout July. About the Disability Pride Flag

In 2019, Ann Magill, a disabled artist, created the Disability Pride flag, which was later redesigned to be more accessible. The flag features five colors, each representing a different aspect of the disability experience: red for physical disabilities, gold for intellectual and developmental disabilities, white for invisible and undiagnosed disabilities, blue for mental illness, and green for sensory disabilities. This inclusive symbol aims to foster unity and pride within the disability community.
