Margot Wayne has participated in LADD’s Run Walk & Roll 5K at the Flying Pig Marathon for years, but this past spring, she was determined to participate in the 4-Person Marathon Relay.
She trained for months with her friend Karly, her brother Jordan, and sister-in-law Chiaki. On the day of the marathon, Karly was sick, so Margot and her family supported one another and bravely finished the marathon between them. They were exhausted, but the sense of accomplishment and family support made it all worth it.
